Experiential Learning and Technology was first recommended to me from a friend who explained how they loved the class. I was looking to switch out of my C block class and it seemed to fit in my schedule quite nicely. I had no idea what this class would do for me until the very end of my journey. At the beginning of the course I had no idea what I wanted to do for my project. I knew I wanted to do something with food because I love to cook and bake etc. It was decided that I would express my food in a food blog although I was still searching for my own twist to it. After many classes of trying to figure out my twist it came to me, my blog would have themes to it such as a food theme would break off into a sweet item and savoy item for an example one week’s theme would be breads and I would make a sweet bread and a savory bread. Me and Lindsays project came our really good for the first part of it (the maker fair). My dad ended up coming to the event even thought I really did not want him too and we presented to him and he thought it was good so I was ok. The night before I worked on my project until about three in the morning trying tome it look presentable enough and look minimally professional. The class was one of my favorite classes I have ever taken and I loved having TJ and Lindsay in it. I switched my groups early in the year and that was one of the best decisions I had made because I was so much happier in the class with them. Mr.Harkins was an amazing support through all fo this I also got the opportunity to 3D print my own name tag. The first few attempts weren't hat good but then we figured it out and I had a good enough name tag to present. Blog 12+13+14

So me and Lindsay decided that it would be best if we joined groups. Lindsays project was not going too smooth and mine needed a great amount of help so it worked out perfectly that she would join my group. She ended up baking chocolate chip cookies and there was a plan for me to bake a savory ricotta cookie but that did not end up happening because I went to Jamaica and had no time to. We decided to join groups about a week or two before the final due date of the project was due. I was really nervous that we were not going to be able to finish it all in time but I also knew that we would be able to pull it off if we tried hard enough and I believe that we did that. I should have used my class time more appropriately. There still would have been a lot of time to relax and have free time i I managed my time accordingly.  Pacificia Condensed and Rekeme script  Trend and Snell rooundhand Trend and sacramento I used a feature on the computer and took screenshots of possible fonts for my website title. I decided with the name bread and coffee for my website name. I figured out the name by writing down my thoughts on `a sheet of paper and the name brea coffee kinda just showed itself. I have ben sticking to my plan for the week although I have-not been able to publish my website yet. I don't know why but I feel like I am really pushing that off. I really need to make more progress with putting my recipes in the website. I decided I'm going to make mozzarella, coconut bread, conolis and pizza. With the theme of sweet breads and normal breads as pizza dough and coconut bread. For cheese theme I am going to make mozzarella to put on my pizza and conolis for a sweet element. I baked my coconut bread and am making my pizza dough this weekend.

This past weekend I made three recipes. I made two sweet and one savory, all with the theme of a twist. In the beginning, I decided that I was going to make a pesto parmagane pastry twist and a cinnamon sugar twist. Below, after the video is my failed attempt to make the cinnamon sugar twist. I ended up coming across a macaron recipe and decided to make that instead. I would add the twist factor by having the shell be pink and white. In the end I made raspberry twisted macaroons and parmagane pesto twists. I am continuing to work on configuring my website and finding a good catchy name to go along with it. I am figuring out how to create and configure my website.

I have been working on re desighning my website and making it my own and original. I have been having trouble with figuring out a good name for my blog. I want it to be catchy and obviously make sense and relate to my prodject. I want my website to be ready sooner then later so I’m able to create my first post on my website/food blog. For my first week I  plan for the theme to be pastry twists. One will be sweet such as sugar and cinomin and the other could be something like pesto parmagane. I’m not 100% sure yet if those are going to be what I’m Gaona make but I believe that’s what they will be. I have been struggling with the desighn of the website because I want it to look neat and crisp but also be fun and colorful. In the next two weeks I plan to have my website completely completed and ready to start posting. I tried to edit my website on my iPad and it is not allowing me to. I could post stuff about my blog but not insert pictures and modifications in my website ...

Blog Post 1+2

  For my project I decided to do a food blog.  I started to make a list of ideas to figure out my project. My list had lots of different ideas on it but I really wanted to do something food related. I decided that I am going to have a theme for every other week. The theme will be featured different every week.  A savory treat and Sweet Treet will be featured every other week based upon the theme of the week. A step by step recipe will go along with the post. I am going to design a website resembles a food blog. It will have recipes for each treat I make and will include a picture along with it. I browsed through a ton of restaurant websites. I decided to make my style of my website a food blog. I chose my theme and started to create my website on  wix. I have started editing my website and configuring it to figure out how it will look.
